Dear North Ranch Families,

Welcome back to the Ranch!!! I can not believe this is my 4th year at this great school. We have cultivated an incredible culture here, and I look forward to another year of success. I am confident in our staff providing the best learning opportunities for your children.

Here is a little introduction for those new to the Ranch this year; I have been in the Paradise Valley Unified School District since 2008, although I started my teaching journey in 2000 in the Scottsdale Unified School District. I have taught all levels of education, but I believe my true passion is for the elementary learning environment. Engaging and supporting all children early on their path to success starts at the induction level of education and is enhanced by the ongoing parent, teacher, and community partnerships. This partnership is a collaborative effort that ensures each child can reach their highest potential. Every child at North Ranch is capable of growth and success, with no exceptions.

I am the mother of three wonderful boys, my oldest son Calvin is a graduate of Northern Arizona University and was married last summer to his beautiful wife, Paige. Colman is a graduate of the University of Arizona Eller School of Business, and my youngest son Clayton will be a sophomore at the University of Arizona this fall.

I graduated from the University of Arizona, receiving a BS in Family Studies, followed by post-graduate work at the University of Phoenix with a Masters of  Education in Administration and Supervision. I have also completed my Doctoral Studies in the field of Educational Leadership. Additionally, I am working on another Masters in Special Education, there is always something new to learn!!

I look forward to a student-centered year here at the Ranch and am excited to be a part of your child’s success. We will work together to make this year amazing. My door is always open, and I look forward to meeting you! Please stop by the Ranch anytime!
